Hannah Rothschild will be talking about her new novel, ‘House of Trelawney’, a love story and social satire set in the parallel worlds of the British aristocracy and high finance, telling the tale of a crumbling English dynasty clinging onto the past while coping with the fallout of the 2008 crash.  Hailed by the Sunday Times as ‘a witty, stylish storyteller’, Rothschild’s first novel, ‘The Improbability of Love’, won the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse prize for best comic novel and was shortlisted for the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction.  The former chair of London’s National Gallery, she is also a filmmaker and non-executive director of various financial institutions.

Tickets are £ 50 and include a signed copy of ‘House of Trelawney’.
